A heartfelt Thank You to everyone involved in the
17th Annual Family Traditions HOOT 2025
Please all of you... stand up and take a bow.

Tina presenting the net proceeds of the 2025 HOOT to the wonderful ladies at Muskoka Parry Sound Sexual Assault Services.
Hey there everyone, hope you are having an awesome day.
I just wanted to let you all know how the HOOT went this year but I dont really know where to begin.
There are sooooooooo many people I need to thank, but I certainly dont want to miss anyone.
To the volunteers that go above and beyond, You are all amazing. Your passion, dedication, belief and love for what the HOOT means overwhelms me. Xo
To Ron Stinson and his entire family. Firstly, for allowing us the beautiful space to hold the event, and for the time and effort they put in prior to the HOOT to help us prepare. Xo
To James and Derek, our "Sound Angels.
You are like big brothers to me. You are the best. Always get great feedback in regard to the sound and music. We couldn't do it without you and your incredible talent and know how. Xo
To all the musicians. I cannot thank you enough for giving your time and talent to the HOOT. You are all top notch, and I am honoured that you step to the plate to help out. You are a cornerstone to making the HOOT the "Tradition" and success it has become since 2006. Xo
To those who sponsor the HOOT on our merchandise, you are the best, some have been Helping Out Our Town since day one. Xo
To those individuals and businesses that donated items for the silent auction. We couldn't do it without you. Xo
To K&K Sanitation, T.T.S. Truck Services, SunBelt Rentals - Huntsville and York1 Waste Management for your continued commitment to the HOOT. Xo
And, by no means last, everyone who attends and shows their support and come out to Help Out Our Town.
I was amazed at the turnout.
Campers and attendees on the day of the event.
I have to say this was the most successful HOOT to date and it is because of each and every one of you. Xo
You all need to pat yourselves on the back and consider yourself hugged.
Because of each and every one of you, we raised $11,500 for the Muskoka Parry Sound Sexual Assault Services - Survivor to Survivor Mentorship Program.
Everyone, take a bow, this was the best year yet.
Thank you is just not enough to tell you how grateful I am to EVERYONE.
If I have missed anyone, I do apologize it is not intentional. You know who you are.
Thank you from my heart and soul for your continued support.
Love you all. Xo
Ya know, I feel, living life's journey can be like trying to navigate in the thick forest in the middle of the night with no light.
Some days it feels impossible to keep moving forward. Your heart, mind, body and soul are exhausted.
Then, when you are about to give up and give in, a ray of light appears from the tangled darkness to guide you into a new day full of kindness, acceptance, understanding, an unconditional love.
I am forever grateful to each and every ray of light in my life. I love you all.
Xo
Well, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about the HOOT and how grateful I am for everyone involved to make it such a success. Then it hit me... Remember I said I didn't want to miss anyone... Well, I did, and I am so very sorry because I don't know what we would do without you. SARAH COOMBS, GRANT NICKALLS, JEFF CARTER and the HBR (Hunters Bay Radio, 88.7, CKAR) gang for always getting the word out there for us. Their continued support over the years is overwhelming. You are the best. And I am so sorry for not mentioning you in the first post.
And a very special thank you to Steve Payne from the Perkerlator for posting our ad.
Everyone take care and thank you, thank you, thank you for making the 2025 HOOT such a success.
You all rock. Xo
Look forward to seeing you all again in 2026.
Tina XO
